Curriculum

We are dedicated to providing the best possible early years education for your child in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Our aim is to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports your child's learning and development.

We have a team of experienced and qualified staff who are passionate about working with young children. Our teachers and caregivers are trained in the EYFS framework and are committed to providing high-quality care and education that is tailored to the individual needs of each child.

Our curriculum is designed to promote all areas of learning and development, including communication and language, physical development, personal, social, and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding of the world, and expressive arts and design.

We believe in a play-based approach to learning, where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through hands-on experiences. Our activities and experiences are designed to be engaging, fun, and challenging, while also supporting your child's development and progression.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which outlines the seven areas of learning and development that are essential for young children.
These are:

- Communication and language
- Physical development
- Physical development
- Emotional development
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding of the world
- Expressive arts and design

In addition to these areas of learning, we also incorporate themes and topics into our curriculum to make learning fun and engaging for children. These themes may include seasonal events, cultural celebrations, or topics that children are interested in, such as animals or space.

We also have a strong focus on phonics, which is an important part of early literacy development. We use a phonics-based approach to teach children how to read and write, which involves breaking down words into sounds and learning how to blend these sounds together to form words.

Our activities and experiences are designed to be age-appropriate and tailored to the individual needs of each child. We use a variety of teaching methods, including group activities, one-on-one teaching, and independent play, to support children's learning and development.

Circle time is a daily group activity where children gather together to participate in a range of activities that promote communication, social interaction, and emotional development. During circle time, children may sing songs, play games, listen to stories, and participate in discussions. Circle time helps children develop important listening and social skills, such as focus, attention, turn-taking, and sharing, and it also helps to build a sense of community within the nursery.
